The ContiTech® DEF Dispensing Hose is designed for Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), a 32.5% urea solution in deionized water, essential for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems to meet emission regulations. DEF reduces nitrogen oxides (NOx) in engine exhaust to nitrogen and water vapor. The hose, made from low-extraction EPDM and peroxide cured, ensures low contamination. It features flexible softwall construction, static wire for Class I, Division 1 areas, and operates at 140°F to 257°F (60°C to 125°C). Reinforced with polyester braid, it provides superior handling in dispensing and reeling applications.
