TAFI Machined Type Needle Roller Bearing with Inner Race TAFI Series
The original machined type of needle roller bearing, as invented and introduced by Torrington. TAFI is a Light Duty Open Type, Single Row Machined Needle Roller Bearing with an Inner Ring. The Inner Ring is separable from the Cage and Outer Ring, while the Outer Ring is fixed to the Cage. Bearings with an Inner Ring are used when the shaft being used isn't heat-treated and finished by grinding.TAFI, employs a caged rollers assembly. The caged bearing combines maximum speed capacity and is supplied with the inner race.
The TAFI machined outer shell employs the caged needle rollers to provide positive radial retention of rollers even though it may be necessary to remove the shaft repeatedly during the servicing of the mechanism employing the bearing.
