Koyo Inner Rings for Inch Series Drawn Cup Bearings are ideal when the shaft is not practical to use as the inner raceway. Provided in inch (IR, IRA) nominal dimensions, these rings are wider than matching drawn cup needle bearings. They feature an optional centralized lubrication groove and thru-hole. Designed for a loose transition fit on the shaft, they should be axially clamped against the shoulder. For a tight transition fit to prevent rotation, the inner ring O.D. must not exceed the raceway diameter of the matching drawn cup bearing after mounting. If the O.D. exceeds, it should be ground to proper diameter while on the shaft.
