Continental® Hawk HTD® Sprockets replaces the Gates PowerGrip® HTD® Sprockets. HTD synchronous belt drives combine the positive timing action of gears with the flexibility, speed and low noise level of belts. Continental® Hawk Pd® - HTD 3M, 5M,  8M, 14M, 20M Nearly every conceivable industrial drive application where precise shaft synchronization is required. Hawk Pd® belts can also be used as an alternative to problem V-belt and chain drives.Unlike chain drives, Hawk Pd® belts and matching sprockets do not require lubrication. There is virtually no need for retensioning like there is for V-belt and chain drives.
